VETERINARY HEALTH

Health Protection of Nomadic Livestock

Vaccination campaigns and veterinary care to safeguard camel and goat herds.

Livestock: The Unique Capital of Nomadic Families

Dromedaries and goats constitute the economic and food pillar of Saharan pastoralists. Epizootics of peste des petits ruminants and camel scabies threaten the livelihood of families.

Mobile Veterinary Units & Vaccination

CSH veterinarians travel to water stations to administer vaccines, internal parasiticides and treat wounds. First emergency veterinary kits are given to breeders.

Epidemiological Monitoring & Hygiene of Abruzats

The CSH installs footbaths and disinfection trays around solar wells to avoid cross-transmission of parasites between herds during watering.
